Castle Grove Country House

Castle Grove is a 17th century country house set on its own rolling estate overlooking Lough Swilly. Its bedrooms are spacious, with all modern facilities. Downstairs in drawing room and library you find a perfect blend of old and new. The dining room offers excellent cuisine, much of its produce from the Walled Garden. To the discerning guest Castle Grove has to be visited to be appreciated. While here you can fish, golf, or simply enjoy the locality.

Rooms 
State Rooms are spacious and elegantly selected. All State Rooms over-look the gardens. Superior beds, linens and towels as well as bathroom requisites are provided in all rooms. Some ground floor rooms are disabled friendly.
The Executive Suites are spacious and some of them have four poster beds draped with wild silk.

All bedrooms are en-suite and individually decorated whilst retaining the elegance of the house with all of its Georgian features and antiques.  

Drawing Rooms 
First impressions of the grand old house are amply justified: The spacious drawing rooms are elegant and comfortable with sunlight streaming through stately windows and log fires burning bright. All of this provides an atmosphere of tranquility unique to Castle Grove.  

Library 
Here you can sit in quiet comfort to read, write and in the adjacent room watch TV  

Conference Rooms / Private Dining 
Private dining is available for lunch and dinner parties or for a working lunch. We offer a variety of options i.e.. two or three courses or the full Table D'hote menu. An extensive wine list by the glass is also available.  

Small conference facilities are available for 12 / 15 people, an ideal location for that residential board-meeting or simply an out of house weekend meeting.

Golf parties are welcome and golf can be arranged at any of our five golf clubs (Portsalon, Rosapenna, Letterkenny, Murvagh or Ballyliffen) all in ideal situations.
